Betsy Horton, MD


Betsy is Board Certified in Internal Medicine. A 1994 graduate of Mercer University of Medicine, she did both her internship and residency at Georgia Baptist Medical Center in Atlanta. She is an assistant clinical professor in the Department of Community Medicine at Mercer University School of Medicine. Having grown up in the area, she began her practice in Fayetteville, in 1998. She co-sponsors the free Fayette Care Clinic where she also volunteers.



David Rowan, MD


Dr. David Rowan is from Macon, Georgia. He attended Mercer University School of Medicine and completed his residency in June 2013 at the Medical Center of Central Georgia in Macon. Dr. Rowan has also worked as a chemist in Albany and Covington, Georgia. He and his wife, Sarah, have 2 beautiful daughters. He enjoys spending time with his family especially at outdoor parks.  Dr. Rowan feels privileged to live and work in the beautiful city of Fayetteville.


Monica Watts, MD

Dr. Monica Watts is Board Certified in Family Practice. She is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Practice. She is a cum lauded graduate of Xavier University of Louisiana and completed medical school at Meharry Medical College in Nashville, TN. Dr. Watts previously was an assistant clinical professor with Morehouse School of Medicine and is a member of the American Diabetes Association.

She grew up in the Atlanta metro area and now lives in Meriwether County with her husband and two teenage sons. Her hobbies include reading ,bargain hunting and occasionally sewing.




Rebecca Neely, PA-C


Rebecca Neely is a Board Certified Physician Assistant from Knoxville, TN. She completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Tennessee and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor's Degree in Biochemistry Molecular and Cellular Biology. Rebecca obtained her Master of Physician Assistant Degree at South College also in Knoxville, TN. She is very excited to begin practicing medicine in Fayetteville and experiencing all the area has to offer. In her spare time she enjoys attending Braves games, hiking and other outdoor activities, and spending time with friends and family.


Melinda Chavis, Certified Nurse Practitioner


Melinda Chavis is a Certified Nurse Practitioner. She is a 1991 Graduate of the University of South Carolina where she obtained her undergraduate degree in Nursing. She obtained her Masters’ degree in Nursing in 2012 from Georgia State University. Her interests include gardening, Dachshund rescue, cooking and spending time with family and friends. Melinda enjoys educating her patients and empowering them to take an active role in their healthcare.


Jae Youn Kim, FNP-C, Certified Family Nurse Practitioner


Jae Youn Kim is a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She earned her undergraduate degree in Nursing at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2010. She received her Master's degree in Nursing from Duke University in 2016. She has a strong nursing background in neurology, pulmonary, and general medicine. She is excited to provide comprehensive care, including preventive care, for the Fayetteville community. She enjoys hiking, which her best hiking experience was at Mt. Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, Africa, and medical volunteering for underserved populations as a member of Georgia Volunteer Health Care Program.
