Diabetes: The focus will be on achieving improved weight and blood sugar control. An individualized plan is developed for each patient. The patient is taught to look for correlations between diet and blood sugar and how to put this knowledge to work.
Overweight/Obesity: The focus here is to determine the cause of the increased weight and identify strategies for weight loss.
A detailed diet plan is provided.
High Cholesterol: It is possible to improve blood lipid numbers through diet. The patient is taught to incorporate foods that will help achieve this goal, and limit those which don’t. An individualized plan is developed.
High Blood Pressure: The nutritionist will focus on sodium reduction while still maintaining flavorful foods. Weight loss will be addressed if necessary.
Renal: A thorough assessment of the patient’s protein, sodium, electrolyte and fluid intake is conducted. Each patient is provided with and educated on a plan consistent with maximizing renal

Lisa Stillman received a B.S. degree in Nutrition from the University of Maine and an M.P.H. in Public Health Nutrition at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
She has worked since 1988
in hospitals, public health,
fitness centers and physician's offices. Lisa has lived in Peachtree City since 1993 with her husband Scott, and children, Zach and Taylor.
She loves to read, does volunteer work and enjoys watching lots of youth sporting events!

The ideal treatment plan consists of an initial session
of one hour and two follow-up sessions of 30 minutes.
The follow-up sessions provide accountability
and the opportunity to make changes to the plan.
